Cochise County Gardener’s Spring Plant Sale Coming to University of Arizona
Gardening in the high desert in Cochise County is unlike anywhere else on earth. No one knows more about what to plant, how, and when to plant in Southeastern Arizona than the Cochise County Master Gardeners.
Plant Talk and Plant Sale Coming to the Discovery Gardens
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or new to the challenges of growing in our unique desert climate, the best place to begin is at the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension's Spring Plant Sale.
This popular event begins with a plant talk with expert Master Gardener Jan Groth. Jan will highlight the best of each plant and explain the methods for planting and caring for them in your garden and landscape.

Mark Your Calendars for the Spring Plant Sale at the University of Arizona
This fun event will happen at 1140 North Colombo Avenue, Sierra Vista, on the University of Arizona Sierra Vista Campus.
The Plant Talk will be held from 8:30am to 10am in the Public Meeting Room in Groth Hall. Jan will discuss the care and growth habits of each variety of plant featured in the sale.
Jan says this is a great way to become acquainted with the varieties of plants that will grow in the High Desert.
The Plant Sale will be held right after the talk from 10am to 2pm.
The sale will be on the north-front patio of Groth Hall. The sale features Arizona Native and desert-adapted perennials, trees, shrubs and some fruit trees, plus vines and a variety of pollinator plants, catus and succulents.
All proceeds from the plant sale benefit the Discovery Gardens at the UA Sierra Vista Campus and the Master Gardener Educational Outreach Programs.
