Learn Drip Irrigation at this Cochise County Event!
If you're planting a garden this year or finally starting that landscaping plan on your property, installing a drip irrigation system can make your life easier.
It takes planning and effort initially, but the time and stress it saves in the long run is worth it.
Drip Irrigation: How Do I Get Started?
Getting started with drip irrigation can be daunting. As you stand in the aisle at the hardware store, you can easily become overwhelmed by all the parts and pieces.
That's where the Cochise County Master Gardeners can help. They will show you what you need, teach you how to put the parts together, and help you design the best system for your landscaping needs.

The Perfect Time of Year to Put in a Drip System in Arizona
This is the perfect time of year before the heat sets in to add a new system or repair or augment an old one. Plus, the temperatures are still pleasant for working outdoors!
Learn to build new, maintain, add to, repair, or replace a home irrigation system.
According to Cochise County Master Gardener Jan Groth, adding a drip irrigation system:
- Saves water
- Saves money
- Saves time
- And most important? It greatly improves the health and performance of your plants.
You'll be amazed at how easy this can be. The workshop fee is only $5.00, and it can be paid in cash or check at the door.
All proceeds benefit the Discovery Gardens at UA Sierra Vista and help support CCMGA Educational Outreach Programs.
