This group of volunteers is dedicated to the preservation of the history of Sierra Vista, Arizona and the surrounding area. [The Historical Society’s] many projects include researching and placing historic plaques around Sierra Vista, providing funds for the city museum's educational programs, and promoting the Fry Pioneer Cemetery as a National Historic Site."

Last fall, the Historical Society created a special, all-volunteer live event at Pioneer  Cemetery last fall, and they are hoping to make it bigger and better next year. The Historical Society also operates the Gift Shop housed within the museum.
