I’m getting excited. I know we’re still in late summer, and there’s still a lot of time before we head into the fall festivities, but I know the seasons are changing, not by the turning of the leaves from green to red and orange, but on the day Spirit Halloween opens its doors.

Halloween is my favorite time of year, and the “Where in town is Spirit Halloween?” scavenger hunt has already begun.

Where To Find The Sierra Vista Store

The July 4th red, white, and blue bunting is still hanging from my porch, but I’m ready to take it down and start my fall decorating. I think there might be some other events between now and October 31st, but I’m focused on the Hallow and the ‘ween, ready for hot apple cider and trick-or-treaters at my door.

That’s why I whooped and squeed (is that a thing?) when I saw that this year’s Spirit Halloween Sierra Vista store is going into the old Big Lots space on Highway 92, in the same shopping center as Dickey’s Barbecue and Food City.

The official address is 135 Highway 92, according to the Spirit Halloween website.

Spirit Halloween in Tucson

If you happen to be in Tucson, they’ve got several Spirit Halloween locations lined up. You can find Spirit Halloween at the Tucson Mall store in the former Bealls location on East Wetmore Road. There’s no official date yet. It’s just listed as “Opening in August.”

Another Tucson-area location at Tanque Verde Shopping Center, in a former Big Lots building, is also set to open in August.

If you don't see a store near you, find your closest location at HauntedAttractionNetwork.com.

The iconic (and at times silly) toys, technologies, and electronics have been usurped since their grand entrance, either by advances in technology or breakthroughs in common sense. See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.

30 Things Arizona Thrift Stores Will Toss in the Trash

Don't drop these off at a thrift store. They won't take them, and if you do sneak them into the donation bin, workers will have to toss them in the trash.
