Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Coming to Sierra Vista
Freddy’s Restaurant is officially known as Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. If you've never had the chance to sample Freddy's fare, they're a casual restaurant chain.
They specialize in regular, Chicago-style, and chili cheese hotdogs. They've also got sandwiches, chicken and hamburgers. And don't forget, the menu's shining star: frozen custard.
Freddy's is also family-priced. You can pick up a meal for around 10 bucks!
Rumors of Freddy's Arrival in Sierra Vista
The Facebook Chit Chat groups have been chewing on this rumor for a while. The story goes that Freddy's is planning to open up shop in Charleston Crossing. The shopping center over by Walmart and Olive Garden.
As I write this, if you're craving a meal from Freddy's, you have to drive a bit. The closest one is in Vail. According to StoreOpening.com, it looks like plans are in the works to "open soon" in Sierra Vista. They even listed their address as 500 AZ-90, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. There are no hours yet, but plans seem to be in the works.
Does the Job Announcement Herald the Opening?
JRI Hospitality Management, which manages Freddy’s franchises across the country posted a job opening in June for a Restaurant Operating Manager. Is this a sign of hope?
Over the last few years, Freddy's restaurant opened a number of new establishments around Southern Arizona. They even have plans to open locations in Canada.
When Will Freddy's Open in Sierra Vista
This is still a developing story. At last word, the City of Sierra Vista approved Freddy's building permit request in June. When will Freddy's open? They're hoping to open late this year or early next. We'll keep you posted.
