If you're the kind of person who's been handing out full-sized candy bars for Halloween, you're a legend in your neighborhood. This is hero-level candy distribution.
With the economy the way it is, like me, you're probably picking up the biggest, most economical bag of candy you can find. We gotta stretch those dollars.

Some of those mixed bags are, well, a mixed bag. A handful of the confections are wonderful. A few are passable, but some are just downright gross.
We can't let them go to waste, though, so be honest, do you sneak a little package of candy corn or Smarties into the kids' bags, hiding behind those fun-size Snickers, just to get rid of them? If you do, you're not alone. Better to let the kids toss them in the trash, right?

Which Halloween Candy Does Arizona (Officially) Dislike?
So what kind of candy do we truly dislike in Arizona? According to USA Today's much more official polls, it's no surprise: candy corn continues its reign of terror as the most hated Halloween treat. It’s got the texture of candle wax and the flavor of regret.
Seriously, who decided sugar should taste like sadness and active tooth decay? Black licorice came in next as the most avoided confection. The flavor is like something your grandma fished out of the bottom of her purse with an expiration date in the late 20th century.

What's Arizona’s Most Hated Halloween Candy? Candy Corn. Obviously.
According to my highly unscientific and extremely unofficial poll, candy corn also came in as our most loathed Halloween candy.
This candy feels more like a punishment than a treat. Some of us avoid it utterly, yet some of us eat a little each year just to remind ourselves what genuine regret feels like. It's no surprise that the only candy left at the bottom of our kids' Halloween candy bag is.
Arizona’s got taste. Candy corn just isn’t part of it.
