I love visiting the Nancy J Brua Animal Care Center in Sierra Vista. The staff is so friendly, and the Staffordshire Terriers are even friendlier.

Take Sally, for example. Sally's been in the shelter for far too long, waiting for her forever home.

I interviewed Sally earlier this year. She's a lovely, lazy girl who'd love the spot next to you on your couch.

She'd be happy to clean up any dropped chips and snacks for you while you're watching Netflix together. You can also give her pets until the end of time. She won't argue.

Meet Sally

Sally is a 9-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with the most heartwarming smile you’ll ever see. She's hanging out at the Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center in Sierra Vista just waiting for you to pick her up and take her home.

How Long Has Sally Been at the Sierra Vista Animal Shelter?

Sally has been waiting at the shelter for more than two years. It must be rough watching other dogs come and go while she waits patiently for someone to spoil her and love her in the manner she deserves!

The shelter team has been working hard to help her learn manners, and her training has been going great. This sassy girl loves short walks and infinite cuddles, but more than anything, she loves chilling with her humans.

Sally is great with kids but prefers to be an only dog. She's a little iffy about other animals, so if you already have other dogs, make sure they all do a meet and greet before you sign the final papers.
