Live Near Fort Huachuca? Adopt a Soldier This Thanksgiving!
With all the tumult related to the government this year, it's more important than ever to give our soldiers a comfortable place to land. If you'd like to open your home to a soldier this Thanksgiving, consider participating in this year's Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Soldier program.
How Can You Adopt a Soldier This Year?
You can share your home and your Thanksgiving dinner with soldiers stationed on Fort Huachuca. What better way to give thanks for all we have this year than to share through the 111 Military Brigade’s Adopt-A-Soldier program?
At our house, I know we always cook a lot of food around the holidays. It's nice to set an extra chair at the table for someone who's far from home.
How Can You Show Your Gratitude This Year?
There's a lot to be grateful for. This Thanksgiving, take a chance make some new memories with your friends and family, and extend the love. Create a special family environment for one or more of our local soldiers.
Since a lot of Fort Huachuca's soldiers won't be able to return home to their families for Thanksgiving, you can create a place at your table. Some are stationed here to attend school, and others can't make the journey due to scheduling and financial reasons.
