If you're a cycling enthusiast, there's no better place to be than Sierra Vista.

The City of Sierra Vista just announced that our community has once again been designated as a Bronze-level Bicycle Friendly Community.

The honor was granted to our city by the League of American Bicyclists. With miles of multi-use paths and designated bike lanes throughout the city, it's a pretty big deal.

The Bicycle Friendly Community designation helps attract visitors who want scenic rides, reliable amenities, and a welcoming cycling culture.

Local businesses benefit too. Sierra Vista even launched Arizona’s first Bike‑Friendly Business Program. This program is the first of its kind in Arizona. It offers amenities such as water refills, Wi‑Fi, and repair tools for cyclists throughout the city.

Why This Matters For Sierra Vista’s Future

Cycling in Sierra Vista is growing, and more bikes mean more visitors, more spending, and greater recognition for the city. The Bronze designation is a positive symbol of our city's growth.
