What You Need To Know About Donald Trump’s Visit to Cochise County
Donald Trump's August Visit to Southeastern Arizona
The Republican candidate for President, Donald Trump, will make a campaign stop in Cochise County this Thursday.
The former president's visit has people all over Southeastern Arizona buzzing as Mr. Trump makes his way to the much-discussed southern border for a campaign stop.
Mr. Trump plans to talk with local officials regarding the state of illegal immigration, the uptick in drug trafficking, and the increased incidence of high-speed chases.

According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the former president will fly into the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport on Thursday, August 22nd, around 10 a.m.
The Sierra Vista Police Department reminds residents that they cannot park on roadways or anywhere that obstructs traffic, access to businesses, or side streets.
A press release from the City of Sierra Vista explains, "Access to the airport will be restricted...all day during the visit from Former President Donald Trump."

The press release continues, "Access to Airport Avenue will also be restricted, and a checkpoint/vehicle turnaround will be in place. Only vehicles with authorized parking permits will be admitted."
Don't Fall for Scam Tickets to See Donald Trump in Arizona
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office Facebook page advises the public to stay clear of the area on Thursday, stating, "This is not a public event."

Carol Capas, the CCSO's Public Information Officer, told Townsquare Media that the Trump campaign released a certain number of tickets locally ahead of the event at the airport, but those tickets have all been claimed.
"There have been reports of scammers calling people in Cochise County and saying they have tickets for sale for the event," Capas told us.
She advises, "Don't fall for it. The scammers are stealing credit card numbers. No tickets are available, and this is not a public event."
