Popular Snack Sold in Arizona Recalled Due to Dangerous Contamination
Another popular product has found its way onto the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) recall list.
This undeclared ingredient is benign and wouldn't pose an issue for most people. But for anyone with an allergy to this substance, the consequences could be dire.
The Snack Being Recalled
Frito-Lay recently recalled some of its Lay's Classic Potato Chips. The recall announcement was made when it was discovered that certain 13-ounce bags might contain undeclared milk. If you're allergic to milk, eating these chips could lead to a serious or even life-threatening allergic reaction.
Check Your Products for the Following Information
The affected bags of chips are labeled with a "Guaranteed Fresh" date of February 11, 2025, and either of the manufacturing codes: 6462307xx or 6463307xx.

If you've already eaten the affected chips and you're not sensitive to milk or milk products, you don't need to do anything. For some, severe sensitivity means that even a tiny amount of milk could potentially trigger a severe allergic reaction.
The symptoms could include difficulty breathing, swelling, and anaphylaxis - the inability to breath would require medical intervention.
