It Really Is Expensive to Live in Arizona
At least that's what we need to tell them. According to statistics, it takes roughly $45,000 a year just to live. Rent is too darn high at around $1,200 a month for a two-bedroom apartment and the average cost of a home in Arizona is over $400,000.
If those aren't reasons to stay out of Arizona, I don't know what is.

According to the US Census Bureau, Arizona's current population is 7,431,344. Back in 2010, it was just 6,392,017. That's a 16% growth in 14 years.
While Phoenix and Tucson are growing, they're not growing as fast as other towns around the state.
