Donald Trump didn't waste any time getting to work on his key campaign issues. Donald Trump: Executive Orders on Illegal Immigration in Arizona

Donald Trump's 2025 immigration policies are shaking things, especially for Arizona. Right out of the box, the CBP One App was shut down, the NY Times Reports. The app was used by migrants to schedule appointments so they could gain entry into the United States.

Minutes after taking office, the website announced that the app was no longer available. According to the CBP.gov website, "all existing appointments have been cancelled."

How Donald Trump's Policies Will Affect Arizona and the Border

Donald Trump wasted no time lining up aid to our thinly stretched law enforcement on the southern border. President Trump's policies on border security will bring more troops and more tech to the border, and as he's said many times, he intends to finish "building the wall."

According to the WhiteHouse.gov/Issues website, under the heading MAKE AMERICAN SAFE AGAIN, some of the plans the new administration intends to implement are:

  • Secure the border.
  • End "catch and release" policies.
  • Reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy for "illegal border crossers, cracking down on criminal sanctuaries, and enhancing vetting and screening of aliens."
  • Send the National Guard to the border to "assist existing law enforcement personnel."
  • Identify and crack down on cartels.
