Cool Off at the Coolest Spot in Sierra Vista
During the hot summer days in Arizona, we're always looking for something fun to do, and shelter from the heat.
If you're tired of paying to cool your house with air conditioning, sick of the kids telling you they're bored, and frankly, you're ready to motivate them to move more, check out the Cove Aquatic Center.
Known locally as The Cove, this is the best place in town to hang out during the hot summer. The scorching sun can stay outside. Step into this amazing indoor facility where the weather is always a pleasant 80-85 degrees.
If your kids are not yet swimmers or if they're looking to strengthen their skills, consider signing them up for swim lessons. They'll gain skill and confidence, with small class sizes. All of the classes are taught be certified instructors and limited to only 4 to 6 students each.
The classes are part of the American Red Cross program, and students learn skills in swimming, basic and competitive swim strokes and important water safety. The classes are geared to various swimming levels and scheduled throughout the summer. Sign up and learn more on the website.
