Changes Coming to Arizona Fast-Food Restaurants This Year
Here are four fast-food chains in Arizona that are rolling out some changes.
- McDonald’s is upgrading its burgers. They've promised softer buns, white onions for a juicier flavor, and perfectly melted cheese. According to the website Eat This, Not That, McDonald's will also cook their hamburger patties in smaller batches. They're aiming for a more uniform sear and adding more special sauce to Big Macs.
- Taco Bell finally launched a first for them: a fully vegan item, and it's been added to their digital ordering kiosks at all of their locations.
- Chipotle offers new "lifestyle" bowls inspired by the latest push for wellness trends. Forbes reports that this initiative also reflects the growing demand for healthier, customizable, and quick meal options to support a panoply of dietary needs, like Keto, Gluten-Free, and Paleo.
- Starbucks will let customers bring in reusable cups, according to Mashed.com. Starbucks is rolling this out as part of an initiative to reduce waste; Starbucks will offer a 10-cent discount on drinks using reusable cups and twenty-five bonus stars.
