Being a teenager is already challenging, and having a parent in the military can add even more. Teens in military families often move frequently or deal with a parent being deployed, which can be tough.

According to the Military Teen Experience Survey conducted by the National Military Family Association35% of military teens report low mental well‑being, which is more than three times the proportion typically seen among civilian youth. No one understands the unique challenges of military families quite like other military families.
