With opening day fast approaching, it was time to have a chat with some of the cast members of Sierra Vista Community Theatre's production of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple (Female Version).

The Odd Couple kicks off the SVCT's 2023 Season. On Val in the Morning, I spoke to Pam Landin who plays Olive Madison. Pam expressed how much fun she's having with the production, going on to say she loves working with the entire cast. She told me the cast and crew work together to bring every performance to life.

Jason Cabrera who plays Monolo Costazuela in the production, has seen the theatre grow over the years. Jason told me, "The Sierra Vista Community Theatres is always on the lookout for new talent and volunteers interested in everything from lighting to set building to sound design and much more."

Once there was a time the group was so small everyone had to wear a lot of hats. The group has grown, but they're always looking for anyone who's interested in being part of the fun.

In this version of Neil Simon's, The Odd Couple, Female Version, Olive Madison is laidback, untidy, and straight-talking versus Olive's neurotic, obsessively clean, hypochondriac friend, Florence Unger. After Florence's marriage breaks down Olive, herself estranged from a husband, allows Florence to move in with her. What can go wrong?!
