Investigation Leads To Search Warrant

Police interviewed the residents who identified a possible suspect. They told police they believed the alleged shooter was driving a silver hatchback during the shootings.

That information helped detectives move quickly, and by Wednesday evening, SVPD and the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Teams executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Avenida Escuela. Everyone inside complied with law enforcement and was detained without incident.
