Over the years, the charity ride has given money to local organizations like Velo Vets, the Good Neighbor Alliance, the Real Wishes Foundation, and many others.

This year, the charity ride plans to distribute $10,000 to charities across Cochise County.

How to Apply to be a Beneficiary of the Cochise County Sheriff's Ride

Here's what charity organizations need to do to become a beneficiary of this year's Cochise County Sheriff's Ride.

As long as the organization is 501(c)3 and in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), fill out this form and provide a copy of the IRS determination letter along with the signed application. The documents will be reviewed by the CCSCR committee.

Forms can be emailed to rmcneely@cochise.az.gov or dropped off or mailed to Charity Ride Committee, 205 N Judd Dr, Community Outreach Unit, Bisbee, AZ 85603.

All requests must be from local charities, and all funds must be used locally by 501(c)3 organizations operating within Cochise County. If you're organization was a recipient last year, you'll have to wait, since they don't allow the same charity to received funding in back-to-back years.

Applications must be received by 5:00 PM on June 28, 2024.
