Arizona Sending 4 ‘Players’ To The Big Game! (PuppyBowl!)
It's time to get ready for the Big Game this Sunday. We've waited all year long to find out who will compete in the biggest contest of the season, and it's finally here!
Say it with me - it's time for PUPPY BOWL!
Wait, what game were YOU thinking about?
Get Ready to Cheer for Arizona's Very Own!
I'm a big fan of dogs, and there's nothing I look forward to more than settling in for the big game with snacks and beverages, my own rescue dogs, Nilla and Latte, at my side as we tune in to watch Puppy Bowl.

We'll get to cheer on some adorable Arizona pups in this year's Puppy Bowl! Four furry friends from our state are ready to steal the show and our hearts on Super Bowl Sunday before that other game takes the field.

Two 7-month-old Shih Tzu-Miniature Poodle mix brothers from the Arizona Humane Society named Jake and Delulu will be stealing the ball and our hearts.

These two cuties were rescued last June when they adopted nice families and forged their forever homes. They'll be representing Team Ruff and will bring their fun, playful energy to the field.
Felicity, a feisty 6-month-old Doberman Pinscher from Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue, will be competing, too. The Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue league says, "Felicity is a true athlete with a heart of gold."
When this sweet girl was found, she was pregnant and had to have surgery to remove an obstruction. Now, she's ready to show off her speed and agility on Team Fluff.
Last but not least, sweet Akimel is an American Pit Bull Terrier mix from the NAGI Foundation. This pup will join Felicity on Team Fluff and bring some serious competition to the game.

You can catch this game - obviously, the most important ball game of the entire year - on Sunday, February 9th, at noon. The game airs on Animal Planet. Gather your family and your fur babies and get set to watch our very own Arizona pups compete for the coveted Lombarky Trophy. Let's go, Team Ruff and Team Fluff!
Remember, #AdoptDontShop and support local shelters, like the Nancy J Brua Animal Care Center in Sierra Vista.
