I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that one steak cost $210 at this Arizona restaurant. After doing a bit of digging, I saw why this was possible.

In Scottsdale, Arizona, Bourbon Steak has just ranked the most expensive restaurant by Love Food. They went through and ranked the most expensive restaurants in the U.S., and let me just say, that I probably won't ever be able to eat at any of them.

Money is one factor, the other being I'm just not that bougie.

What Makes Bourbon Steak in Arizona So High End?

Well, let's start with the fact that it's located in the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Hotel. Have you seen this place? Look at the spread above. Swanky!

That place is huge, and also on the fairway of the world-renowned TPC Scottsdale golf course.

Obviously, this hotel has it all: regular rooms, gold standard rooms, high-end suites, and private villas. It even has six pools to retreat from the Arizona heat.

So it only makes sense that a restaurant as high caliber as Bourbon Steak shares its property.

What's on the Menu at Bourbon Steak in Arizona?

Are you ready to take out a second mortgage just to dine here? We kid, it's not that outrageous, but it's not a place you'll eat at every week. Just for those special occasions.

If you're into eating fish eggs (who isn't) you can indulge in some caviar doughnuts for just $37. Staying on the seafood side of things, oysters are $38 a half dozen, half of a Maine lobster is $56, and a shrimp cocktail is $38. Remember the caviar donuts? You can get those with a Maine lobster roll for $42 -- that might be the best way to try the doughnuts.

Moving down the menu to the appetizers and salads. You know, we need to make this a full-course meal since we are at it. The cheapest thing on the appetizer menu is a wedge salad at $19. 😳

Their American Wagyu Hot Rock is $46. I'm not a big Wagyu fan, but that's just me. I know, how could I not be? I don't know, weird I guess.

Let's get to the meat of things ... literally. The most expensive menu item is Bourbon Steak's signature 32-ounce Hay-Smoked Tomahawk steak. This comes with duchess potato, snap peas, and truffle au jus. Are you ready for this? Yep, it costs a whopping $210. For a steak. One steak.

All kidding aside, restaurants as bougie and high-end as Bourbon Steak are definitely worth the experience. They really do have the best chefs and staff.

I'm putting this place on my list for an anniversary celebration.
