Halsey Regrets Racy Agreement She Made With Cops to Avoid Trouble: ‘Don’t Love That’
Halsey isn't proud of everything she did in her youth.
The "Ego" singer revealed that years ago, police showed up to one of their parties due to a noise complaint, and they made a risqué agreement with the cops to get them to leave.
Halsey claimed officers told her she could avoid trouble if she agreed to take a photo with them. The only problem? She was only wearing underwear at the time as she and her rowdy party mates were taking a dip in the pool.
Halsey ended up posing with the cops in her soaking wet bra. Being young at the time, they found it funny, but after reflecting on the moment, she now cringes when thinking about the ordeal.
"It wasn’t until a couple of years later that I was like, ‘Damn, those cops just have a picture of me half naked on their phone.' I’m sure it comes out in bars. Ah, don’t love that," the 30-year-old singer told Rolling Stone U.K.
"All those little versions of me that are out on their little side quests, floating around the world – I wish I could bring you back home so that you weren’t out there going through that," the "Without Me" singer continued.
"That picture on that phone, that nude on someone’s phone, that Polaroid photo, all those little versions of me in that intimate space whether consenting or not, that are out in the world that people were using for whatever, I wish I could call them back. That’s a really lonely feeling," Halsey added.

Halsey's looking forward these days, though. The pop star's new album, The Great Impersonator, is out Oct. 18.
In an exclusive chat with PopCrush Nights hosts Donny Meacham and Lauryn Snapp, Halsey explained they want people to have as much "fun" listening to the new album as they had while recording it.
Halsey also spilled that a song on the album was inspired by the long-running ABC drama Grey's Anatomy.
