Are you looking for a reason to get out of the house this Halloween season? Whether you're a believer in the paranormal or just enjoy a good ghost story, Southern Arizona has no shortage of haunted destinations to explore. I've always been drawn to the region's legends and local lore, and these three ghost tours are among the best ways to experience them for yourself.

Old Bisbee Ghost Tour

Bisbee is a town known for its art, history, and hauntings. If you are looking to explore the town's paranormal side, you can do so with the locally owned Old Bisbee Ghost Tour, one of the city's most popular after-dark attractions.

The Old Bisbee Ghost Tour takes guests on a guided walk through the town's historic streets, alleyways, and staircases, lasting about 1.5 hours. Along the route, visitors will hear stories of the town's most famous ghosts while visiting haunted locations tied to miners, outlaws, and Bisbee's colorful past.

Tours begin at 7 p.m. nightly, tickets are $20 per person, and reservations can be made online through the tour's website.

The Ghost & Murder Trolley Tour

The Tombstone Ghost and Murder Trolley Tour is a great nighttime ghost tour option for people who aren't able to walk around for long periods of time.  Rather than exploring the town on foot, guests ride aboard a vintage-style trolley while hearing stories of Tombstone's haunted past, infamous murders, and lingering spirits.

The tour takes visitors past 13 of the town's most haunted destinations. Tickets are $20 for kids and $30 for adults. Over the course of an hour, you will hear tales of restless spirits, infamous outlaws, and deadly shootouts while rolling through the streets of the Town Too Tough to Die. Reservations can be made online through the tour's website.

Tucson Ghost Tour: Sinister Sins & Desert Tears

When most people think of ghosts in Arizona, they imagine old mines and abandoned Wild West boomtowns. Tucson offers a different kind of haunted experience, where ghost stories are woven into historic hotels, theaters, and city streets. The Sinister Sins & Desert Tears Ghost Tour takes visitors through downtown Tucson after dark, exploring some of the city's most infamous locations and the stories that refuse to be forgotten.

On a one-hour, one-mile walk, you'll visit haunted landmarks including the Hotel Congress, Fox Tucson Theatre, and Pima County Historic Courthouse. Tours are offered nightly, with tickets starting at $24 per person. Reservations can be made online.

For visitors interested in history, true crime, and the paranormal, Sinister Sins & Desert Tears offers a unique look at the ghosts hiding in plain sight throughout downtown Tucson.
