Get In The Halloween Spirit With Arizona’s Halloween Spirits
Halloween is one of the most popular holidays across America. While most other major holidays are focused on family, friends, and togetherness, Halloween cares about one thing and one thing only: horror.
From costumes to haunted houses, the Halloween spirit is all about everything creepy and disturbing. There's a special event in Phoenix that takes this concept to the max.
The Black Lagoon
In terms of Halloween celebrations, no one does it quite like The Black Lagoon. It's a pop-up bar that shows up in cities across the United States in order to bring Halloween cheer. Think of it like a messed-up version of the Ghosts that visit Scrooge in A Christmas Carol.
The bar is currently stationed on the rooftop of Sunny's Lounge in Phoenix, and is chock full of fun surprises and vibes. Fog machines coat the floors, metal and goth music is blasting from speakers, and everyone's in their scariest costumes.
But their biggest draw has nothing to do with the decorations.
Specialty Drinks
The Black Lagoon doesn't just do this for fun, they're in it to win it (whatever "it" is). They've prepared a specialty menu for visitors to sip on to get in the right frame of mind. The "Hex Appeal" is a personal favorite, mixing Honeydew, Lemon, Seltzer, Gin, Vermouth, and Absinthe.
They've got plenty more fun and frightful drinks, from sweet "Siren's Song" to the tart "Nightmare Fuel", there's a drink for everyone's taste. Make sure to go quickly though, because this pop-up shop is closing its doors for another year on November 1st.
