Cochise County is a community renowned for its rich history and stunning natural beauty. What it isn't known for is live music and theater. Despite this, Cochise County is home to many amazing venues where you can watch plays and musicals or attend live music performances. Here are three venues in Cochise County you can visit to get your fix of the performing arts.

The K Palace Theater
The K palace Theater in Huachuca City is a gorgeous venue with great drinks and comfortable seating. This venue is used to host a variety of performances, ranging from locally written plays to live music by bands like The Country Diva's.
Before becoming the K Palace Theater, they were once known as Theater on the Move. As Theater on the Move, they traveled across Cochise County, playing at venues in Bisbee, Tombstone, and Sierra Vista. Since finding themselves a home, the K palace Theater has put together dozens of shows, ranging from Beauty and the Beast to Agatha Christie. If you are looking for a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a show, the K Palace Theater is perfect for you!

Klien Center for the Performing Arts
Located in Buena Highschool, the Klien Center for the Performing arts is a huge theater that hosts a variety of performances. The Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra will perform here at times, and every year this location is home for The Nutcracker!
Between singing and dancing from organizations like the Sierra Vista Dance Company, the Klien Center is also home for a variety of high school performances. Here you can watch Buena's choir perform regular choir concerts. You can also watch students put together onstage, a yearly performance from kids involved in performing arts programs at Buena.
You can also watch musicals and plays put together by students in the theater program. Here highschoolers perform plays and musicals such as James and the Giant Peach and School House Rock. Every year their season changes, so make sure to check out the Klien Centers website.
The Sierra Vista Community Theater
The Sierra Vista Community Theater is located in the Mall at Sierra Vista and has been around since 2019. This is a nonprofit organization that is home to musicals, plays, and Blackbox performances. The Sierra Vista Community theater has everything from readers theater to performances of CLUE and Young Frankenstein.
Every year this theater hosts events like Dream Roles, a weekend long showcase of roles people has always dreamed of performing. They also hold annual once acts, also called new directors' showcases. These are compilations of short plays brough to you by new directors looking for their chance to make something special.
SVCT also has a youth theater program. In this program kids and teenagers get to learn about the intricacies of theater. Every year there is a youth musical, youth one acts, and a summer camp where kids in the community can sharpen their skills and learn parts of theater they may have never thought about.

Casual Venues
If none of these places float your boat, there a variety of bars and restaurants you can visit in Cochise County that offer a different atmosphere. Bars like Pc's lounge and the Horned Toad in Sierra Vista offer live performances from local artists and comedians looking to share their talents.
Schieffelin Hall in Tombstone is also a spectacular venue to visit! The building itself has a deep history and can be toured by visitors looking for a good spook. Despite this, it is still used and happens to be the home for a lot of different events, such as the annual Tombstone Film Festival!
