Does it Ever Snow in Arizona?

Yes, yes it does. In fact, Flagstaff can average 100 inches of snow each year. They're also home to one of Arizona's ski areas the Arizona Snowbowl.

There are a few locations in the northern part of the state that receive snow. Maybe not a ton, but enough to leave the snow-lover satiated.

You'll even see snow farther south in the state by Tuscon higher on the mountain tops.

Heck, there are even records of Phoenix getting a bit of snow on occasion.

What Kind of Snow Activites are There in Arizona?

Obviously, as I stated above, you can go skiing or snowboarding in Flagstaff. Did you know there are two other ski resorts in Arizona?

There's one near Tucson on Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley and one near Greer called Sunrise Park Resort.

You can also enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and sledding in Flagstaff and in the mountains on the east side of the state.

While you may not be able to enjoy snow everywhere in the state, you'll be able to find it to enjoy a nice winter day.
